Panoramic Prague – Brief Introduction to the City

This sightseeing tour aims to introduce Prague to you in your native language in two hours. The first part of the tour is on an air-conditioned bus equipped with a modern audio-phone system. We will show you the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and the Lesser Quarter. You will then have about 45 minutes of free time to visit Saint Vitus’ Cathedral at Prague Castle. After your individual walk around the grounds of Prague Castle, you will continue your bus tour through the Old Town Square, around the Municipal House, and back to the point of departure, with commentary on the various historical monuments along the way.

Prague All in One

The tour starts with a walk in the Wenceslas Square in the NEW TOWN, continues along the Royal Route to the OLD TOWN Square with Astronomical Clock and through the JEWISH QUARTER with its synagogues to the Vltava River embankment, where our restaurant boat is waiting for you. While you are enjoying delicious lunch on board, you will be taken on a 1hour voyage through the heart of the city. Your guide will provide you with informative commentary about the city and its landmarks. Nicely relaxed, you will continue by bus through the LESSER TOWN to the Infant Jesus of Prague. Climb on-board the popular funicular up to the the top of Petřín hill to the Petřín Lookout Tower, a smaller copy of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. After taking a stroll through the Petřín Park you will get to the Strahov Monastery from where you can enjoy gorgeous views of the Prague Castle and the core city. Our walk takes you further to Loretto Cloisters and the PRAGUE CASTLE, from the rampart of where you can admire the St. Wenceslas' vineyard with the unforgettable views. Then you will descend to the Lesser Town and Kampa Island. Your tour ends at the Charles Bridge. During the tour, you will have time for short breaks with refreshments and taking pictures.

The Best of Prague

During this detailed sightseeing tour, we will introduce Prague (UNESCO) as the historical and architectural jewel of Central Europe. Our guide, who will be available the whole time, will acquaint you with the history of Prague and its quarters (Old Town, New Town, and Lesser Quarter) from the comfort of an air-conditioned bus. The second part of the tour will take you to the grounds of Prague Castle and the inside of Prague’s most dominant feature – Saint Vitus’ Cathedral. After a 75-minute walk (approx.) with our guide, you will return by bus to the banks of the Vltava River, where you will board a tour boat. Here you will have the chance to relax or enjoy refreshments while admiring the beauty and panorama of Prague from a different perspective. From the deck, you will also see world-renowned Charles Bridge. Refreshed, you will continue your pleasant walk through the Jewish Quarter to Old Town Square (Astronomical Clock, Týn Church), where our tour ends.

Jewish Quarter and Old Town

This half-day walk tour takes you to the historic heart of the city – the Old Town. That was settled more than 1,000 years ago. The tour begins in the Old Town Square with the magnificent houses, palaces and churches of various architectural styles and the famous Astronomical clock. The trip continues into the Jewish Quarter. Story of the Prague Jewish community can be followed to the midtenth century. During this walk you will visit the Old Jewish Cemetery, whose foundation dates back to Fifteenth century, the oldest European synagogue - the Old-New Synagogue and several more.

Karlštejn castle

Karlštejn Castle is one of the most visited castles in the Czech Republic. Built by Charles IV between 1348 and 1355 it originally served to safeguard the imperial and royal treasure and the Crown jewels and served also as the archive of state documents. This gothic castle, enchanting you with its monumental architecture is situated about 38 km southwest of Prague. After climbing the hill, an hour lasting tour of the interiors awaits you. Your guide will acquaint you with not only the history of the castle, but also with the life of Charles IV and fine arts during his reign.

Kutná Hora – UNESCO

Kutná Hora, a medieval centre of silver-mining was the second richest town of Bohemian Kingdom. The variety of Kutná Hora architectural monuments and its well preserved structure of town centre reflexes its ancient fame and wealth until present. During your walk in Kutná Hora you will visit the Gothic St. Barbara Cathedral and Italian Court - originally a Royal Mint. You will no less admire the other beautiful Gothic, renaissance and baroque burgher houses or the unique stone well from 15th century. You also will visit one of the most interesting burial places in the world called Kostnice (Ossuary) in a small nearby village Sedlec. This chapel is decorated by more than 40 000 human bones, including e.g. a chandelier or the coat-of-arms of the noble family Schwarzenberg. Kutná Hora town has been registered at UNESCO heritage list since 1995.

Dresden

Anyone who is interested in seeing the gorgeous scenery of České Středohoří (Central Bohemian Uplands) and would also like to visit our neighboring country, can join us on a trip to the German city of Dresden. Dresden originated as a small fishing village, growing to become a spa and royal residence, to finally become the capital city of Saxony. The most important historical monuments are the Zwinger and Albertinum galleries, the Hofkirche and Frauenkirche churches and the Semperoper opera house. During World War II, the city suffered by a massive air raid that almost destroyed it entirely; however, it has been reconstructed and rebuilt.

Český Krumlov – UNESCO

Český Krumlov, a medieval town in South Bohemia, has retained its almost fairytale-like atmosphere to the present day and is, understandably, on the UNESCO list of heritage sites. The historical centre comprises narrow, winding streets full of gothic, renaissance, and baroque buildings from the times of the Rožmberk, Schwarzenberg and Lobkowitz noble families. You will enjoy a walk through the town with our guide and lunch in a medieval tavern. You can also visit the local castle: this second biggest Czech castle is full of historical furniture, artwork, tapestries and exquisitely adorned weapons. Český Krumlov also prides itself with the oldest preserved baroque theatre in the world.

Karlovy Vary and Moser Factory

This day trip takes you to the most famous spa town in the West of Bohemia - Karlovy Vary. Karlovy Vary was founded in 14th century by King Charles IV. These spa treatments are well known for a lot of health problems. You can try water from twelve medicinal thermal springs and visit the distillery Jan Becher, where you can taste the excellent product "Becherovka" - known as the 13th spring of Karlovy Vary. You can admire beauty of historical and modern colonnades and buy typical souvenirs such as wafers, glass, porcelain, and Moser glass.

Terezín concentration campground

Terezin (Theresienstadt), originally a military fortress built in the 18th century by Emperor Josef II, is inseparably tied to the history of World War II. The better known walled garrison town of Terezin (Big Fortress) served as a collection camp for Jews from all over Europe and was misused for Nazi propaganda purposes during the visit by the Red Cross in 1944. The less known Small Fortress was a cruel prison of the Reich’s secret police - the Gestapo. If you are interested in the history of World War II and the Holocaust, come with us to the Small Fortress of Terezin and to the museum located in the Big Fortress.
